Who operates this site
MaxHealthSup is owned and operated by Sanderson Gurgel, an independent publisher based in Brazil, working as a sole proprietor. There is no team behind that name and no parent company; it is one person doing desk research and writing it up.
We say that plainly because a lot of review sites in these categories imply an editorial board and a testing facility that do not exist. Knowing you are reading one person's research should change how much weight you give it.
What we cover
Two categories, both chosen for the same reason: they are areas where direct-to-consumer marketing and the underlying evidence have drifted a long way apart.
- Dietary supplements. Ingredient-level reviews: what is actually on the label, how strong the evidence is for each ingredient, the drug interactions that matter, and who should avoid the product.
- Home comfort products. Fans, personal coolers and the surrounding category of devices sold on a promise to make a hot room bearable — judged against what the mechanism can physically deliver.
How we research
We read the label or the manufacturer's specifications, we look at what the published literature or the underlying engineering actually supports, and we compare the marketing claims against that. Where a claim cannot survive the comparison, we say so and explain why rather than simply asserting it.
What we do not do
We do not run clinical trials. We do not test samples in a laboratory. We do not own a climate chamber. We do not publish customer testimonials we cannot verify. We do not publish star ratings, because a number implies a measurement we have not made.
When you see a performance figure or an ingredient dose on this site, it came from the manufacturer or from published research, and we label which. Plenty of sites present manufacturer numbers as though they were test results; we would rather tell you where a number came from and let you weigh it.
How this site is funded
Affiliate commissions, and nothing else. If you buy through a link here, the seller pays us a percentage; you pay the same price either way. That is a real conflict of interest, and our affiliate disclosure sets it out in full — including the selection bias built into only covering products that have an affiliate programme.
What we do not take: payment for a positive review, payment for placement in a comparison, or payment to remove criticism.

We are not doctors, pharmacists or dietitians. Nothing on this site is medical advice or a substitute for talking to a qualified professional who knows your history. Dietary supplements are not medicines, they are not evaluated by the FDA for efficacy, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you take any prescription medication, show the ingredient label to a pharmacist before your first dose.
Heat carries risks of its own, especially for older adults, infants, pregnant people and anyone with a cardiovascular or respiratory condition. A comfort appliance is not protection during extreme heat; contact your local health authority for guidance on cooling centres.

Corrections, questions about a review, or privacy requests — we read everything and we will fix what is wrong. We aim to reply within two business days. There is no phone line, and we would rather say so than publish a number nobody answers.

What we cannot help with
We are not the seller — please read this before writing
We do not manufacture, sell, stock or ship any product on this site, and we have no access to any seller's order system. If you have placed an order, we cannot see it, change it or refund it, however much we would like to help.
- Order status, tracking or delivery problems
- Cancelling or changing an order
- Refunds, chargebacks or returns
- Warranty claims and faulty units
- Billing questions or unexpected charges
- Replacement parts or accessories
For any of those, contact the seller you bought from, using the details on their website, in your order confirmation email, or on your receipt. Have your order number ready — it is the first thing they will ask for. If you paid by card and cannot get a response from the seller at all, your card issuer's dispute process is the next step.
Corrections policy
Where we correct something material, we note the correction on the page rather than quietly editing it. If you think we have something wrong, write to contact@maxhealthsup.com with the evidence and we will check it.
