Privacy Policy
The short version. MaxHealthSup is a small, affiliate-supported review site run by one person. You can read every page without giving us your name or email. The only tracking on this site is a measurement pixel on some review pages, which tells us whether our ads brought you here and whether a visit led to a purchase on the seller’s site. Outside the United States it stays off unless you accept it. In the United States it is on by default and you can switch it off, and we honor Global Privacy Control. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page that uses it.
1. Who we are
MaxHealthSup (www.maxhealthsup.com) is owned and operated by Sanderson Gurgel, an independent publisher based in Brazil, working as a sole proprietor. He is the controller of the personal information described here, and also acts as the person responsible for privacy (data protection contact, Quebec “person in charge of the protection of personal information” and LGPD encarregado). Contact: contact@maxhealthsup.com.
We are not the manufacturer or seller of any product we review. When you click through to a seller, that seller’s own privacy policy governs what happens on its site, including your order and payment details. We never see your payment information.
2. What we collect
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We have no account system, no comment forms and no newsletter sign-up.
Technical information the hosting service records. Like any website, the servers that deliver our pages receive standard request data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the page and keep the service secure.
Measurement pixel data, where the pixel is active. On pages where it is used, and only when it is allowed under your choice (see section 3), the measurement pixel can record information such as the ad click identifier added to the link you arrived from (for example a Google Ads click ID), the page you visited, the referring page, your browser and device type, IP address and the time of the visit, and whether you clicked through to the seller.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for or knowingly collect health information, and we do not create advertising audiences or profiles based on which health topics you read about.
3. Cookies, pixels and your choices
| Technology | Provider | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
Consent record (browser local storage: mhs_consent) | MaxHealthSup | Remembers your choice so we don’t ask on every page. Strictly necessary. | Set only after you make a choice |
| Measurement pixel (Filtripixel) | Filtrify, our website and ad-management platform | Ad measurement: links a visit to the ad click that produced it, and to a later purchase on the seller’s site, so we can see which ads work and credit affiliate commissions. | Off outside the US until you accept. On in the US, with opt-out; off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. |
| Affiliate and seller cookies | The affiliate network and the seller | Set on their websites after you click an affiliate link, to credit the sale to us. Governed by their privacy policies. | Not set on our site |
We do not use Google Analytics or Google remarketing tags on this site.
How the choice works. Pages that use the pixel show a notice at the bottom of the screen. Outside the United States you can Accept or Reject, and both options are equally easy. If you do nothing, the pixel stays off. In the United States the notice lets you choose Do not sell or share my info, which switches the pixel off. We work out which notice to show from your device’s time-zone setting, and we never make a location lookup to do it. To change your choice later, use the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also clear the site data in your browser, which resets your choice.
4. How we use information, and legal bases
- To deliver the site and keep it secure (server request data). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website; for LGPD, art. 7, IX.
- To measure our advertising and receive affiliate commissions (pixel data). Legal basis: your consent where consent is required, including in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada and Brazil (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); LGPD art. 7, I). In the US, it is based on notice and your right to opt out.
- To reply to you (email). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering messages, or steps you ask us to take.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax records for commission income.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing ad-click data with advertising and affiliate partners can count as “selling” or “sharing” under some US state laws, which is why the opt-out described in section 3 exists.
5. Who we share it with
- Filtrify, which hosts the site and runs the measurement pixel on our behalf.
- Google, as the ad platform: if you arrived from a Google ad, Google already holds the click details, and conversion information may be reported back to our Google Ads account. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Ads Settings.
- Affiliate networks and sellers, which receive the click-through and report back whether a sale occurred.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
6. International transfers
We are based in Brazil and our service providers operate in several countries, including the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside your own country. Where the law requires it, we rely on the transfer safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message and then for up to two years. Pixel and server data are kept by our providers under their own retention settings, and we ask for no longer than is needed for ad measurement and commission reconciliation, normally no more than 13 months. Your consent choice stays in your own browser until you change it or clear it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, receive a copy of it, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@maxhealthsup.com. We will reply within the time the law in your country allows, normally within 30 days, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. Because we don’t hold accounts or names, we may ask for details, such as the date you visited, to find any data linked to you.
9. Europe, the UK and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the Swiss FADP applies. The measurement pixel runs only after you accept it, and you can withdraw consent through Cookie settings. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
10. Canada, including Quebec
If you are in Canada, PIPEDA and, in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) apply. Technology that could identify, locate or profile you, including the measurement pixel, is switched off by default and runs only if you activate it by choosing Accept. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Sanderson Gurgel, contact@maxhealthsup.com. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
11. United States, including California
If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, choose Do not sell or share my info in the notice or under Cookie settings, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat that signal as a valid opt-out. Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (IP address, ad click IDs) and internet activity (pages visited, referrer, click-through), for the purposes in section 4. We do not knowingly sell or share the data of anyone under 16. You can also use an authorized agent to make a request.
12. Brasil (LGPD)
13. Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we keep the information we hold to a minimum. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we will tell you, and the relevant authority, about a breach where the law requires it.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top. For a material change, such as adding a new tracking tool, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
